What is the best part about an art show?

When I get a chance to engage with people about what inspired me to create a piece, it brings me joy. As an artist I find myself always faulting my own work. Picking out the flaws or over thinking how I could have done things different or better. It is not about me anymore once I complete a sculpture or piece of artwork. I create for enjoyment, that is my passion, but It is for others to observe. It reaches them through many different expressions and/or feelings. When I get the chance to participate in this type of conversation with others, it is like they become the artist. Their personal opinion or interpretation of what I have created can derive new meanings. We all respond differently to art, it is beautful and profound.
